Beloved California
Northern
Born and raised in Northern California, my family and I are 5th generation Northerners.
Here are some of our most favorite places to go and see. I love taking back roads and snapping pictures.
Red Bluff CA.
We hit Usal at least once a year for a few days of camping.
Look what wandered through our campsite the last morning.
Impressive Elk to say the least, and there were two of them.
TAHOE
So this summer I got to see Lake Tahoe for the first time. Breathtaking beauty, amazing vistas and some of the most coolest, unique places I've ever had the pleasure of getting a few shots off. I was in AWE at some points in our trip. Dare I say, spiritual? It was a true pleasure to take the following pictures. Keep TAHOE BLUE. (Thanks babe.)
Eagle's nest
Zeyphr Cove
Tahoe Queen
Emerald Bay
For you CC Genoa Bar Nevada's oldest thrist parlor
Bodie, CA
(This was particularly spooky. Givin' the way our environment is deteriorating at such a rapid rate.)
Most of these pictures were taken from outside a pane glass window. So in some of the pictures you'll see my hand, light coming from behind me and sometimes you'll see random people in ghost like form......this was not easy.
Cave Rock, NV

Lost Coast, Usal Beach
Hulls Meadows, Tulomne County
One of my favorite places on earth is up in Hulls Meadows. We have a cabin up in the Sierra's that has been in the family for 3 generations. There are no phones, no running water (sort of), no electricity and your cell phone will not work up there. My grandfather and a friend of his bought up several acres in a secluded meadow among the tall pines of Tulomne County. Stanislaus National Forest is right across the dirt road from our cabin. We all love it there. I have several relatives that are burried up there, (all cremated, of course. Except one that is actually in a cemetary in Twain Harte.) This place is a place of peace and center for me and I'd like to share some of the photos from a trip that could be, the last one at the "Doll House".
We lovingly call it, "camp whinning pines".
